Once you have downloaded the application click on sign in and then SSO.Click on the Zoom app and then click on Install.In the Software Centre use the Search box to find Zoom.Go to the Search box next to the Start menu and type in Software Centre.Your machine needs to be connected to the UCL network on campus or, if working from home, the VPN connection. You don't need admin rights to your device to do this. You can install the Zoom Client on a UCL managed machine via the Software Centre. Please read and agree to the current Terms of Service prior to using Zoom.Tip : t he Zoom app will download automatically when you start or join your first meeting, however if you wish to use the app, it is recommended that you download it in advance to ensure you have everything set up prior to your meeting. This will affect iPhone 5/5C and below, iPad (4th generation and below), and iPad mini 2 and below. Since the minimum version of the client required to take part in Zoom meetings in our tenant is 5.11.6 (9890) these devices will not be able to join UVic Zoom sessions. 32-bit devices will have 5.11.3 (4067) as the most recent version available.
With the release of the Augversion of the Zoom client, the Zoom mobile app for iOS now requires a 64-bit device. There is a ChromeOS client for Zoom but due to feature limitations it is not recommended by University Systems. Zoom is also available for iOS and Android:
